A weekend filled with fashion, creative cinematography and top notch designers showcasing their collections – what more could a girl ask for?!
The 2nd Mercedes-Benz Bokeh SA International Fashion Film Festival certainly did not disappoint! For me, the highlight of both evenings was experiencing the festival with the winners of the #TamaraBokeh competition. Megan Farao joined me on Friday evening for the screening of the fashion films and Simone Benjamin accompanied me to the event on Saturday evening for the awards ceremony.
Take a look at what we got up to:
I had such a great time with the winners of the #TamaraBokeh competition. Megan and Simone rocked the red carpet!
Voila Feel Beautiful dressed me in a breezy for the second night of the festival. I absolutely loved this dress and will be doing a post on this label very soon…you might even stand a chance to win your very own breezy 😉
Fashionistas pulled out all the stops and dressed to impress.
I bumped into some of my favourite people – singer and songwriter, Chad Saaiman (photo cred: Charne Mingo); Founder of the Festival, Adrian Lazarus and MAC Cosmetics Senior Makeup Artist, Michelle Lee Collins to name a few.
Sunglass Hut, one of the sponsors of the festival, let us explore their display of gorgeous shades.
We had the opportunity to meet top notch designers and have a look at their collections.
And of course, as a self confessed foodie, I must say that the food was divine!
A definite highlight was meeting some of the winners of the fashion film awards. There is something to be said of being in the company of brilliance – how inspiring!
Winners on the night included:
Purgatory of Monotony – Sonja Kinski
206 with David Oyelowo – Contentmode x J. Cooper
Best Hair and Make-Up
Perfidia – Raul Rosillo
Etro The Encounter – Valentina BeÃ
The Legend of Shalimar
